Whether you're a powder hound or an ice junkie, this question begins to pop into your mind by about this time of the year.
We're now at that halfway point—equidistant from last season and just shy of the next one.
Whispers about winter plans start circulating within our tight-knit communities.
Uncertainty looms large too.
Powder hounds reassure each other that this winter will bring the best conditions.
Ice heads too begin calculating the where and what's.
Everyone is dispersed and busy at the moment.
These sports and activities are what brings us together.
Soon friends and chat groups will begin springing to life, buzzing with discussions about planning accommodations, locations, gear and etc.
Some reassure each other that this winter will bring the best conditions. There are the pessimists and then there are the ones who always see the glass half full. Which group do you belong to? This, too, is part of the 'game.'
Outdoor sports offer more than just personal growth and development. The social aspect is a huge draw.
That's what we love—the way projects, ventures, and people intersect. Sometimes it's by coincidence, other times through deliberate action.
For most of us, this has been our story.
