KAO RANG II 6187M
Embark on a rare journey to Koa Rong II, the centerpiece of Lahaul. This expedition offers an ascent via the largely unexplored west ridge. The base camp is at 5,100 meters on the banks of the picturesque Panchi Nala, with Camp II at 5,895 meters. The peak itself stands at 6,187 meters.
Koa Rong II was first climbed by a Polish expedition in 1984 via the southeast ridge, with few subsequent ascents, and none clearly documented on the west ridge.
The Koa Rong range dominates the Lahaul skyline, offering a sense of remoteness. The approach through Panchi Nala provides a serene yet challenging pathway to the base of the mountain. Designed for seasoned climbers, this expedition combines high-altitude trekking, technical climbing, and strategic acclimatization, culminating in a rewarding summit attempt with panoramic vistas.
Join us on this extraordinary expedition to Koa Rong II, where the thrill of exploring an unfrequented route meets the serene beauty of the Himalayas. This adventure is not just about reaching the summit, but about experiencing the untouched wilderness and the camaraderie of a shared challenge
