Petzl SPIRIT — lightweight carabiner for sport climbing

The Petzl SPIRIT is a lightweight, standard-sized carabiner designed for sport climbing, working routes and multi-pitch climbing. Its flat spine provides a stable grip, while the Keylock nose helps prevent snagging on bolt hangers, gear loops and ropes.

Straight Gate vs Bent Gate

Choose the Straight Gate for the bolt-hanger end of a quickdraw. Its textured straight gate provides a secure grip and makes clipping and unclipping from protection easier.

Choose the Bent Gate for the rope end. Its curved gate is designed to guide the rope into the carabiner and support fast, efficient clipping.

Both versions weigh 37 g and use an aluminum frame with a strength rating of 23 kN on the major axis, 7 kN on the minor axis and 8 kN with the gate open.
