Petzl CORDEX PLUS gloves are medium-weight belay and rappel gloves designed to provide additional protection while retaining the dexterity needed for rope handling.
Additional protection for long rappels and lowers
A padded palm helps protect the hand from heat generated during long rappels or lowers. High-wear areas—including the fingertips, palm and the space between the thumb and index finger—use a durable second layer of leather.
Durable and precise
The gloves use high-quality goat-skin leather for a balance of durability and dexterity. Abrasion-resistant stretch nylon at key flex areas supports movement, while the ergonomic cut avoids an excessively tight fit.
Secure cuff and harness attachment
A low-profile neoprene cuff closes with Velcro. The reinforced attachment hole allows the gloves to be clipped to a harness with a carabiner.
