Cordalette: Six meters (18 feet) of 5mm accessory cord tied into a loop with an in-line overhand.
Ice Axe: A light general mountaineering axe is essential. A shorter length (50cm) is preferable, and leashes are not required.
Ski Helmet: A ski helmet is a must.
Sleeping Bag: A warm bag, synthetic or down, rated to at least 0 degrees Celsius, is preferred. Down is better for the Himalayas as it’s lighter and compresses smaller.
Inflatable Sleeping Pad:
Backpack: A 35 to 70-liter pack is recommended. Ensure it has a well-fitting hip belt for longer days.
Ski Boots: Invest in boots with a walk/ski mode and a rubber sole.
Touring Skis/Splitboard: Choose a lightweight ski that performs well in variable snow conditions. Minimum 95cms underfoot.
Climbing Skins: for your skis or splitboard.
Mountaineering/ Trekking Shoes/Lightweight Trekking Boots
Socks: Bring three to four pairs of good socks. Include lighter wool trekking socks and slightly thicker ski mountaineering socks.
Down/Synthetic Jacket: For warmth at the lodge, in camps, and during breaks.

Base Layers: Lightweight, mid-weight, and expedition weight tops and bottoms for layering.
Fleece/Down Pants: For extra warmth in the mornings and evenings around camp.
Warm Hat: Two warm hats that work well with you helmet, sunglasses and ski goggles.
Gloves: Liner gloves, windproof mid-weight gloves, and shell gloves.
Water Bottle/Hydration Bladder: Bring enough containers for at least 3 liters of water per day.
Head Lamp/Torch: A bright headlamp with extra batteries.
Towel: For drying off after washing and bathing.
Sun Hat: Prefer a hat which has neck curtain.
Buff: We are operating at high altitudes. Sun protection is must.

There are hardly any well-equipped gear shops or rental stores in Himalayas.
You are to rely on your own packing for everything including spares for your kit.
So, give special attention to your packing list before embarking on the trip.
