The BCA Tracker 4 is a rugged three-antenna avalanche transceiver built around a large, temperature-resistant LED display and an ergonomic, rubberised case. Its real-time distance and direction display, clear controls and durable construction are designed for demanding backcountry use.
Multiple-burial search tools
Signal Suppression mode temporarily suppresses the strongest signal so a searcher can continue toward another transmitting beacon. Big Picture mode helps assess the signals detected within range. The Tracker 4 also includes multiple-burial and close-proximity indicators.
Motion-sensing auto-revert
The optional auto-revert function uses motion sensing to return the unit from search to transmit if the searcher stops moving. A Mini USB port supports compatible software updates and electronics testing.

The serial number is inside the battery compartment; consult the official BCA Tracker resources for the current notice and support instructions.
Training is essential
An avalanche beacon is only one part of a complete rescue system. Every group member should carry a shovel and probe, understand the equipment and practise companion rescue regularly.
